The Long Island GLBT Families Group is a social group for GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered) parent(s) and their children. Expectant GLBT parents are also welcome! We meetup at different locations all over Long Island and welcome ideas for new meetups!

We are a new meetup/cooking group for those who enjoy cooking classes, eating and socializing. A friendly interesting group of Long Islanders and GLBT from the area are welcome to join us for a monthly shared event of cooking and eating in our own member's kitchens. This group is open to all LGBTs and their friends on Long Island that are 50+. Join us for great discussions, outdoor trips to restaurants, museums, and arboretum walks, as well as occasional networking events and line dancing classes. Lambda Peer Support Services provides workshops, ongoing and short- term support groups, Holiday Connections activities and other programs and activities for the LGBTQ Community of the lower Hudson Valley.All support groups are conducted by trained peer facilitators under the ongoing supervision of certified clinicians.
